The School of International Development is delighted to offer five competitive scholarships worth our International tuition fee of £19,800 to students with international fee-paying status undertaking any of our full-time Masters courses in 2023/4.
Successful recipients will receive this award in the form of a tuition reduction from our international fee.

Application Process

To apply for the International Development School Scholarship, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Be a graduate of any international institution.
- Hold a degree with a 2:1 (or international equivalent) classification.
- To secure an offer of a place to study your chosen MA or MSc course. Apply for your course at https://www.uea.ac.uk/apply/postgraduate#masters
The main part of your scholarship application will be to answer the following question in no more than 250 words: How does the course you are applying for help you achieve your career goals and how will your experiences and interests contribute to the learning of the cohort as a whole?
Additional guidelines for a 250-word scholarship statement:
We are looking for a carefully written and concise summary of how you believe the skills, knowledge and experience of studying this course at the School of International Development will help you successfully achieve your career goals. We also want to understand how your existing experience and interests can enhance the learning experience of your peers on the same course and in the wider Masters cohort.
When applying for this scholarship, you must already have a conditional or unconditional offer to one of our Graduate Study programs in the School of Development.
