Undergraduate and Postgraduate Deakin STEM Scholarship 2023-24, Australia

Australia’s Deakin University works to help tomorrow’s innovators realize their potential. The Deakin Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship is a 20 per cent scholarship for international students applying for undergraduate, postgraduate courses within the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Construction.

This scholarship is available for the normal duration of the course.*

  • 20% of your student contributions (tuition fees).

*Recipients must continue to meet eligibility requirements during their Deakin studies to continue receiving this scholarship; see eligibility criteria below. Other fees not covered by this scholarship may apply. The scholarship will not apply to study beyond the normal duration of the course (due to additional units or repeated units).

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible you must:

  • Be a citizen of Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka or Vietnam
  • Be a new student starting their course at Deakin anytime before Term 3 2026
  • Meet the entry requirements for their courses, including English language requirements
  • You must have maintained a weighted average (WAM) of at least 65% in each previous year of study at Deakin AND have at least 8 credit points to complete your course (only relevant if you are a Deakin readmission student)
  • Study a Deakin undergraduate or postgraduate course (including honors) from the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Construction (SEBE)
  • You do not start a course on the FutureLearn platform
