TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program

International education and training has long been one of ICDF Taiwan’s core operations among many. Human resource development programs play an important role in helping partner countries achieve sustainable development, and education is an important mechanism for workforce training in developing countries. Taiwan ICDF provides scholarships for higher education and offers bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D. prepared. Cooperation programs with well-known partner universities in Taiwan.

Taiwan ICDF established the Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA) with 22 partner universities, creating an operational platform under this TICA framework to manage and improve the scholarship program. There are 33 programs offered for Taiwan ICDF Scholarship 2023. For more information on each of the programs offered in 2023, please visit their individual website.


Applicants applying for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship must meet both the general eligibility criteria and be citizens of a country on the List of Eligible Countries for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship. Applicants must also meet the Regulations Governing the Visiting, Resident and Permanent Residence of Foreigners set by the National Immigration Agency of the ROC (Taiwan).

Note: All undergraduate programs accept applications from citizens of ROC (Taiwan) allied countries only.

Applicants must complete an online application January 1 – March 15, 2023.

Please note that each applicant can only apply for one program at a time.
The applicant must also submit a separate program application to the universities of their choice.
