Every year Kristianstad University offers a number of scholarships to qualified students from outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
Kristianstad University Scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded to citizens of a non-EU/EEA country on request to pay tuition fees to study at Kristianstad University. If a scholarship is awarded, it includes a full or partial reduction in tuition fees. Please note that these scholarships do not cover your living expenses.
Some students also have the opportunity to apply for Swedish Institute Education Scholarships.
How and when to apply
The application period for Fall 2023 is now open!
Tuition-paying students can apply for a tuition fee reduction for the 2023/2024 academic year from mid-October 2022.
The application period for Fall 2023 is open from October 17, 2022.
Please note that the application deadline is February 1, 2023
The application period for Spring 2023 is now closed!
Students already studying at Kristianstad University in the fall of 2022 can apply for a tuition fee reduction in the spring semester of 2023 starting October 3, 2022.
Please note that the application deadline is October 31, 2022
Kristianstad University Scholarship is based on merit. Evaluation of scholarship applications is based on the essence and documents sent to Universityadmissions.se when applying for the program.
N.B. Marks and documents registered after February 1 will not be considered when applying for the fall semester.
If you have not paid the application fee to Universityadmissons.se for the program you wish to study, you are not eligible for the Kristianstad University Scholarship.
Preference will be given to students:
- first of all, he applied to Kristianstad University and in time according to the national admission stage
- Kristianstad University is the first choice
- They studied at the bachelor’s level at Kristianstad University and are applying for master’s programs
- have excellent educational advantages and a good command of English
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
Financial needs of students are not taken into account during selection.
Scholarships offered by the Swedish Institute
The Swedish Institute is a public institution and annually awards a number of scholarships for students and researchers coming to Sweden to pursue their goals at a Swedish university. Some programs may have specific scholarships only related to the program or subject area.
One of the scholarship programs offered by the Swedish Institute targets students from countries with long-term development cooperation with Sweden. The scholarships will be administered by the Swedish Institute and will cover both living expenses and tuition fees.
