You plan to pursue a computer science or engineering degree in college
You plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or another computer science-related field of study and plan to attend an accredited 4-year college or university (or an accredited 2-year college) , with the intention of transferring to a 4-year institution).
You’ve tried computer science or hardware engineering (hardware engineering includes robotics, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, etc.) and want to learn more.
To be eligible, you must have taken or be currently enrolled in computer science or hardware engineering in a high school or college dual program.
Examples include:
- International Baccalaureate Computer Science Course
- Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science
- A or AP Principles of Computer Science
- Computer Science through the college’s dual enrollment program
- Engineering
- Robotics
- Physical Computing
- Design Mechanics
- Computer manufacturing
- Aerospace Engineering

You have a financial gap to fill

You are a high school senior with a 2.3 cumulative GPA
You don’t have to be a perfect student to be considered, just a student who takes his studies seriously. It requires a cumulative GPA of at least 2.3 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Eligibility to work in the US for at least two years
This includes United States citizens, United States permanent residents (Permanent Resident Card holders), or Employment Authorization Holders to work in the United States. The work permit must be valid for at least 2 years.
